“I truly feel if it wasn’t for Jessica and her ability to help us navigate some really emotional moments, we might not of had the vaginal birth that we intended…Before having our beautiful baby, who is now 7 months old and incredibly healthy, I would have never thought of the inclusion of a doula. I was a skeptic but supportive of my partners wishes as I knew the birth should be a compliment to her needs. Looking back now I have realized my surprise in the end of our birth how much a doula can help the father as much as she helps the mother, especially in moments when your emotions are all over the place. It always helps to have a second pair of eyes in a situation where a team environment can make a lot of difference.
